Outstanding stallion Dynasty has enjoyed a wonderful run of success with his two-year-olds this season, and the former Horse of The Year was represented by his eighth juvenile winner when his Moutonshoek bred son Noble Secret made an eye catching debut at the Vaal on Thursday.

A R700 000 buy from last year’s National Yearling Sale, the Mike de Kock trained Noble Secret simply thrashed his rivals to win as he liked by nine and a quarter lengths over 1200m.

A 17-20 favourite for the race, Noble Secret could not have been more impressive and he looks another good prospect for his outstanding sire.

He is out of the stakes placed Al Mufti mare Arabian Secret, and is thus bred on the same Dynasty/Al Mufti cross as graded winners De Kock and Barrack Street.

Other notable juvenile winners for Dynasty this season include the above mentioned Barrack Street (winner of two features including the G3 Protea Stakes), the unbeaten filly Lady In Black and impressive recent winner Eyes Wide Open, a runner in next weekend’s G1 Premier’s Champion Stakes.

Sire of 3 sons named Horse Of The Year, including young Cape sires Futura and Legislate, Dynasty will be represented by four lots at next month’s National Two Year Old Sale.
