Ridgemont Highlands’ classic winning stallion Canford Cliffs looks to have another potentially smart sort to his name in the form of Cliffs Of Comfort.

Cliffs Of Comfort, an impressive winner of his first two starts, made it three wins in a row when landing the Schweppes (Bm57) over 1100m for trainers Daniel and Ben Pearce.

Ridden to victory by apprentice Chris Graham, the three-year-old Cliffs Of Comfort was produced by the Bernardini mare Miss Brandywine.

The gelding’s Irish 2000 Guineas winning sire Canford Cliffs is no stranger to success in Australia with the son of Tagula’s notable Australian runners including such group winners as Cliff’s Edge, La Falaise and Princess Posh as well as former Melbourne Cup contender Walls Of Fire.

Sire of nearly 40 stakes horses in total, Canford Cliffs is a half-brother to promising 3yo Toronto-who holds entries for the 2020 Gr1 Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas, Gr1 Investec Derby and Gr1 Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby.
